Activated nuts are the result of soaking them for a period of time so that a stimulation occurs, initiating the sprouting process within the nut. This process also breaks down the enzyme inhibitors they contain, making nuts gentler on the stomach and easier to digest and assimilate. They are then strained and slowly dehydrated at low temperatures until dry, crunchy and ready to be handcrafted into one of our delicious nut butters for you to enjoy.
